Ed Autry is an AUTHENTIC veteran broadcaster. He has experience both in front of the camera and behind the microphone.
He started his career as a Top 40 disc jockey in 1972 as a radio voice at AM Radio KOLE 1340, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Ed later joined the military and became a part of the worldwide network known as the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service. While stationed in southern Turkey, he served at an affiliate of the Air Force European Broadcasting Squadron (AFEBS), as a television stand-up news reporter and television news anchor.
Later, he was reassigned to Headquarters American Forces Korea Network in Seoul, Korea, where his afternoon drive-time radio show, "Rollin' Home", was carried by all six radio affiliates in the country.
While off-duty in Korea, he performed voiceover work for industrial films.
After the military, and back in 'the States', Ed has performed in regional television commercials, which prompted favorable articles in the Kansas City Business Journal.
He also served as News Director for a television station and was a proud member of the Radio and Television News Directors Association.
He currently hails from the beautiful Missouri River Valley.
